One star because I didn't appreciate how I was being talked to on the phone when I called to ask a couple questions. I understood it's Memorial Day weekend and every place was either booked or closed; which is why I called. When she answered, all I got was a Hello. I was expecting a greeting of where I was calling (it would've helped since I was calling many nail salons) and a name of who I was talking to (I like to call someone by their professional first name). I asked if they accept walk-in's or if they were booked? She asked me what I needed, and I told her nail removal and possibly a basic manicure. Then she says they PREFER appointments. So I assumed they were booked; and that their Yelp information about walk-in's is all wrong (they need to change that). She talked to me like there was no need to talk to me if they were booked and if I had no scheduled appointment. Even though they were booked and if they take appointments, I still wanted to get my nails done there. But she never said (I would have liked her to say something similar to) "I'm sorry, we're booked and we only go by appointments. Would you like me to schedule you in for tomorrow?" You know, something like that to show me they're considerate. But I didn't get that. We stayed on the phone with each other for a few seconds which seemed like forever, and I felt stupid being on the phone with her if she's not trying to be professional or at least try to make even our phone conversation enjoyable. I felt disappointed and uncomfortable, so I said "Okay" and hung up without saying good-bye to her. It was incredibly irritating. If you're making me feel like it was useless for me to call, and you sound like you don't care for helping me out at all, you don't care about how it's going to look on you. The pictures I seen on their business profile are incredible and I wanted a set on myself. But if this is the way they do business, I'm good. Work on your customer service and telephone skills. Smh.
