| - Chipotle Mexican Grill! Six months ago if anyone would have said to me let's go and have some food from Chipotle my answer would have been...No!
Ever since they had issues with their food I have stayed away because of obvious reasons but I decided to give this place one more try as I do believe in second chances.
I decided to go to the Chipotle on Craig and Losee and try a burrito. When I got there I was surprised to see at least 10 to 15 people having lunch, to me this is a good sign because it means the franchise is finally overcoming all the negative publicity regarding their food.
I decided to go ahead and try the barbacoa burrito. The area where they have their cooked meats and greens was very clean and looked organized. The greens looked very fresh and the meat looked as if they were in fact keeping a fresh batch.
My Barbacoa burrito had the barbacoa black beans, white rice, pico de gallo sour cream, avocado, and green salsa.
Like I mentioned before I was a little skeptical and not too sure of what I was getting myself into by eating the food but I have to say to my surprise this burrito was very delicious. All the ingredients we're fresh cooked just right, and the burrito it self was very filling. The Barbacoa was actually really good and it tasted like actual barbacoa not too many spices, not over seasoned, it was done just right . The cost of the burrito with all the extras added to it was roughly $9 not a bad deal for the quality of food that they are now serving, and the amount of food you get stuffed into your burrito.
Overall not a bad experience I'm glad I gave it a second chance the food tasted good, good service, clean place, I was really impressed as to how far Chipotle has come and with this being said it looks like I might give it another chance in the near future.
