Stopped by for an espresso and a treat and was not disappointed. I had the apricot crostata, as recommended by the man taking my order. Easily one of the best crostatas I've ever had - moist and fruity. The espresso was delicious. It was served in a huge cup though, which was odd and felt like I had been handed someone's leftover sip... Will come back to try their sandwiches for sure.
Update: Espresso is served with ice water and a cookie if you have it at the counter and not 'to go.' This is definitely a nice touch! Everybody knows you need a sip of water after your espresso! This extra effort was very much appreciated.
I tried the PLT sandwich and wasn't too impressed with it. It's arugula, tomato and prosciutto in stead of the usual BLT ingredients, which is great, but for some reason they've decided to put a third slice of bread in the middle. This makes for a LOT of bread, and comparatively little filling. The bread was wonderful, don't get me wrong, there was just too much of it. If not for that, the sandwich would have been top notch.
