  • My boyfriend and I boarded our dogs here over the holiday weekend because my normal place was booked. Because they were there so many nights they were supposed to get complimentary baths. Upon picking up our dogs, they smelled awful and one dog had dirt on her front legs. My boyfriend was given his dog's stuff back and told he needed to wash the soiled bed. I was given my dogs things back missing her crate blanket. I inquired to where it was and then waited 10 minutes only for a girl to come back and tell me that "they did not have time to look for the blanket and would call me." Upon checkout the bath was not checked off on either pet. We were told they got baths the night before. I would highly doubt that they did. I called when I go home and spoke to Whitney the assistant office manager regarding the unprofessional comment I had received about them not having time to look for the blanket and reminded her my time was valuable as well and I live 20 minutes each way. She apologized and called me later saying my blanket was found. I noticed when I got home my dog was bleeding from an abrasion on her paw near her nail. I had her nails trimmed over the weekend and am not sure if that is where the abrasion came from. I went to pick up the blanket today. It was not mine. It instead looked like a hospital blue pad that is placed under sheets. The girl at the front desk left for 10 minutes to "look for my blanket" came back to say that the best they could do was call me if it was found. She did not apologize one time. Instead said you signed a form that leaves us not responsible for lost items. Yes, I get it. I signed it. It is the way they handled the situation that is unacceptable. Their customer service is lacking and rude. We spent over 300$ for the weekend. Had to purchase fecal tests and flu shots not normally needed at other places. Both dogs are potty trained and we were told they would be let out and walked 4-5 times a day. Yet they both apparently soiled their crates. I was told my blanket was taken out because they do not leave dirty things in crates.. yet my boyfriend's dog bed was soiled when they gave it back to them. A lot of time and money was spent for a very unprofessional experience and it does not appear our dogs were well looked after. I am only writing this review after giving sunridge many opportunities to make this right or at least apologize for losing the item. They are too busy to look after pets for boarding as it seems to be just a money making service they offer. I would never recommend it to anyone.
