| - I've come here 3 times: the first for an eyebrow wax, the other two for mani/pedis. The lady that did my eyebrows was super friendly and nice and did a good job, so of course I came back for more. But the second time i came in, i asked for a gel mani and regular pedi. The woman that did my gel mani used the same tool used for acrylics on my nails, which had never gone through that kind of treatment before and I was not prepared. I've been to other places that did not use this method so you can be sure I was shocked to have my small brittle nails tortured like that. And the woman didn't seem to understand my simple request for a french tip, so I walked away with a disaster on my fingernails. I figured that it may have been a fluke to have gone through that the first time, so I waited for my already hard-to-grow, always breaking little nails to grow back into full health before I went back again. The third time I askedu for regular mani/pedi, so no gel that time. Honestly, the pedis are very luxurious. Especially if you order the Honey Sugar option. I love when they use the grapefruit to scrub at your legs and feet, smells wonderful! But then I faced the mani tables once again. I picked the kind of Barbie hot pink I personally love and made sure it was going to be a regular polish on my nails. Then I asked the nail tech (not the same from before) if she could add a design to my thumb and ring finger nails. I asked for a white heart with a single rhinestone in the middle. And I wished she had asked for someone else to do it in her place, because you can't even tell there are white hearts under the rhinestones, they just look like white blobs. And honestly, the color underneath doesn't even look like it was done professionally. UGH. I've decided that this place would be my go-to for a quick, lovely pedi if I needed it, but I won't let them touch my finger nails again.
