| - I'm currently staying here with a friend while waiting for a place at a nearby complex with 4-bedroom apartments, and honestly if it weren't for my desire for a lot of space over 2 floors I would probably stay here.
A few cons:
- The toilets need the button held down for a few seconds in order to flush
- This place didn't have a microwave, although my friend was told he could have asked the office for one, so that likely isn't an issue for new residents
- It would be nice to have clearer/larger building numbers, at first it's easy to get turned around in the complex and a little lost
Pros, from my short time here:
- I had an issue today with one of the parcel boxes, one of the two lovely women from the front office helped me out immediately.
- Both women I met in the front office today were lovely, really friendly and eager to help.
- The 2 bedroom apartment I'm in is very, very large with high ceilings in the living area.
- The washer and dryer in the unit are great
- The rent is very reasonable (Take that with a grain of salt, I was in the Bay Area before this was a one-bedroom couldn't be found north of San Jose for less than $2k)
- The buildings and complex are attractive and welcoming
Lastly, smoking - thank you for being a smoking complex. I know non-smokers complain a lot, and ideally you'd just have smokers upstairs and non-smokers downstairs - but as a smoker I'm happy to be somewhere that I don't have to deal with walking off the property in order to smoke. If you aren't a smoker you might not appreciate this, but it makes life happier, genuinely. I try hard not to bother anyone else with it, and I'm glad to be on the second floor, but yes, I'm certainly grateful that smokers aren't treated like lepers here. I can actually imagine living here if the larger place doesn't work out, or it turns out I'd like to downsize again sometime in the future.
In the month I've been here I can say I'd definitely recommend this place.
Thank you for the help today :-)
