| - First time staying here and I was quite pleased! Took a trip to Vegas with my sis and bestie to attend the Billboard Awards at the MGM. A blast! But I digress, back to this cute little hidden gem.
PROS;
It was quite refreshing to walk into a hotel in Vegas and not smell cigarette smoke and hear a bunch of yelling-there's no casino or club here.
Even with partial to no views of the actual strip, the city views are quite nice. We stayed on the 50th floor. And when we walked out of our room we were met with a direct view of the Bellagio's water show. Awesome.
We were greeted with a bowl of fruit and extra waters on our first night. Sweet. But don't get too used to it, it's only on the first night :-p
Friendly helpful staff, contemporary yet warm design, spacious suite (we stayed in the Vdara suite) and easy access to all the places we wanted to go.
CONS;
There's a sofa bed in the living room area, but no linen. Bummer. You have to call down and request for them to bring it up in a big ass black garbage bag. Yikes.
There's a nice kitchen, but no flatware, no plates. Gotta request those, too.
The final bill is a bit confusing, even after explanation.
All in all, it's a VERY nice place! Just know that if you plan on someone sleeping on that sofa bed to ask for the linen when you first arrive so you don't have to be aggravated later when you really need it and have to wait.
