  • Zio is the epitome of a neighborhood restaurant. It is off the beaten path, a casual meeting place with outside seating. Zio has a warm feeling when you walk in the door, I mean the whiff of garlic knocks you down, heat pouring out of the kitchen, it is very comforting. Even if you haven't been there, you know you have found a gem. I have been a couple of times with large groups, great for ordering a lot of food and eating family style. I love ordering a large pizza for an appetizer. YUM cheese overcooked please. I went for lunch once and they told me they didn't serve pizza at lunch, that was a little mind boggling. Maybe we should have our first 2010 CLT yelpers at Zio!!!
