I showed up at 9:30 PM I was promptly cared for waiting less then 10 mins in the waiting room. Staff seemed rushed and I ended up only being with the nurse practitioner for maybe 5 mins max. They ran no tests on my condition basically looked at my eye and said we think it's bacterial pinkeye. Not to reassuring but okay. This is where the trouble arises they call in my prescription to the 24 hour Walgreens. I go to pick it up where they explain they don't have it in stock. Okay what about another one... Nope none of them have it in stock. What about CVS? They apparently don't have it in stock either. Walgreens offers to call them in the morning to see about getting it changed over to something they carry. Okay fine and dandy. The morning comes I call Walgreens they say they are still waiting to hear back from NextCare. I wait a few more hours still nothing. I call NextCare of course it's some generic customer service center. They say they will have the clinic call me. The clinic calls me back and says they approved some other drug with just the antibiotics but with no steroid. Okay thanks now I will continue to have my stabbing eye pain but at least it will eventually clear up. I call Walgreens they claim they are still waiting to hear from NextCare. Somewhere along the way the communication broke down and I still don't have my prescription and it's now almost been 24 hours! I have made over a dozen phone calls and I basically just threw $120 down the drain and didn't even get any meds to help my eye. This place is awful I wouldn't even take my worst enemy's dog to them! What kind of idiot seriously prescribes eye drops no one carries?! And why on earth is it so difficult to get this resolved. Thanks for nothing NextCare!
