  • So our pool is finally finished....our contract was written for a 30 day completion. It was done in about 70 days. Which is fine as we did not want to have a job that big rushed, but the company needs to be up-front with expectations. The communication with this company is AWFUL. They would randomly call me and ask if I was home. This happened more than once. They did not let me know what was scheduled when and haphazardly assumed I would be home whenever necessary at any given moment. No-one supervised our project. I was basically the project manager. Their subs just showed up to work and then asked me questions like I was supposed to know. Again no communication. Our travertine work took about 5x times too long because the lady ordered different width pavers. I had to have them move some equipment because it was too close to the dog door. We designed the backyard and signed off on a 1 foot fence from the dog door. Due to no supervision on their part my fence is now 2 inches at best from the dog door. The only time this company was on time was to pick up their checks. I will say the company they use to do the landscaping is phenomenal. They finally finished our pool, but didn't bother to vacuum it out so we still have little pieces in there that the in-floor cleaner does not get. I'm probably going to have to get a vacuum at the pool store. The only reason the rating isn't worse is the fact that we do love our pool and backyard and can't wait to enjoy the summer in it. If you are willing to have some headache and ZERO communication you can save a lot of money over the bigger name companies. Honestly this company would do so much better if they got a new front office that can communicate and some overall supervision on their jobs.
