It's hard to find good authentic Chinese food in Las Vegas, let alone dim sum; however, Yum Cha was great! I wish I knew about this restaurant sooner.
The service was great. Everyone was very attentive. I literally looked up from the menu for one second and the waiter was over to ask if I wanted to put in an order. It's no secret that many Chinese restaurants usually don't have the best customer service sometimes but I really enjoyed my experience here. For being prime time for dim sum, it was fairly slow but it was a Tuesday morning.
The menu included several options and offered detailed photos of the food items. I was impressed that some classic dim sum entrees offered a chicken or pork option (siu mai). We ordered the chicken siu mai, har gao (shrimp dumplings), char siu bao (pork buns), har cheung (shrimp noodle rolls with sauce), and the egg custard buns (which were ginormous, the photo in the menu was not an exaggeration). I'm picky when it comes to dim sum, but everything was very fresh and delicious! My eyes were far hungrier than my stomach and I really wanted the egg tarts and mango pudding, but that's something I'll have to try next time.
The restaurant was very clean and you had a clear view of the kitchen area.
