The Nevada Southern is a true class operation. They have some terrific old locomotives, and the ones on display and in use are in terrific condition. The train rain is just a simple back and forth, but you get to see the landscape from a different point of view. What makes the NS amazing however are the people who run it. I had interactions with at least six of them and every single one of them was kind, informative, and proud of their railroad. My only complaint, which is not their fault, is it can get uncomfortably hot in Boulder City.
