I heard great things about this place, so we decided to give it a shot. Before we could even see if the reviews and raves were correct, we had the misfortune of meeting the "little" girl at the front. Attitude. From the time we walked in there. I have never been so amused by the ignorance and cluelessness of someone who is trying to sway me to spend my money somewhere. Talking down to me, trying to belittle and rolling of the eyes is NOT how you attract customers. Fortunately for the owner of this establishment, my phone was not on me, or I would have recorded the foolishness of this girl and put it on YouTube, so others could be spared of the fifteen minutes of "high school" drama I was forced to live. I have teenage daughters and their level of respect and business savvy outweighs the maturity level of this 20-something "assistant" the owner sadly puts out as the face of his company. I have , and will continue, to detour anyone and everyone I meet from going here for their business and personal needs. After the fifteen minutes of being spoken to like I was a moron, I promptly went across the street to the Target shopping center and found an embroidery place there and was treated with respect. And as a business owner, that's how you get repeat business. Seems like the staff at American Stitch could use some lessons.
