rev:text	Wanted to buy a Pebble Steel smart watch. Found it in stock with a competitor for half the price. Read up on Best Buy's price match policy, and basically they'll only match a handful of online retailers, but all local competitors within 25 miles who have the item in stock. Went down to BB, put the watch on the counter, and told the rep I'd like to get a price match. He asked me where, I told him, and he curtly responded that they don't match that competitor. I told him I was aware that they wouldn't match the online store, but it was in town, in store, in stock. He begrudgingly went off to the computer to check and loudly informed me, incorrectly, that it wasn't in stock. So over his talking I pulled out my phone and SHOWED him on the website where it said in stock. He said they wouldn't match a store that far away (about six miles. Again, their website says 25). At this point another rep comes over and calls the competitor's store to verify stock. This takes 15 minutes. Eventually she comes out to the counter and tells me the competitor doesn't have any. "So you called every location in town and none of them have any?" She told me she had, and had even asked her manager who said they didn't match that competitor. Great, so neither the reps nor the management know their own price match policy. Well, I left Best Buy, called the competitor, verified stock and bought it from them for half the price. I am not one to write negative reviews, but this was such atrocious customer service and blatant disregard for posted policy that I wasn't going to keep quiet about it. Spend your money somewhere else.
