| - This is a better looking restaurant than most Vietnamese restaurants, and clean, but the food was mediocre. I ate here twice when I first moved here a year ago. The first time I had a banh mi with salad, a lunch special. It was good and priced at $7.99, no bargain but doable.
The second time I went I had pho from the menu, with slices of beef. It was hugely disappointing. The broth was weak and almost tasteless. On top of the vapid quality of the broth, it was expensive at over $10.00. I've been to tons of Vietnamese restaurants in different parts of the world, and this place had one of the worst and most expensive pho broths ever, The quality of a Vietnamese restaurant's pho is a benchmark of the overall quality of the restaurant; therefore, two stars is all I can give to this restaurant.
Do yourself a favor and go to more authentic Vietnamese restaurants. They might not be quite as attractive, but they'll spend more money on the food, and make things taste right.
