  • There is a reason why I drive 68 miles round trip to take the boy when he needs a check up to Smile City in Henderson. It's due to having built a relationship over the past five years. I was originally referred to SH, when the boy needed braces. When they came off, I have still brought him here regardless of the distance I am now forced to now travel. Dr. Lac is a pure unadulterated straight shooter. This might put some people off but I have always appreciated his straight forward honesty and occasional humor. I never felt as if I was being gouged or up sold on anything. In the early years, I used to sit there and hold the boys hand as he his teeth were being drilled due to his juvenile attention to his mouth. As the years would go by, he would eventually not need my presence as he had grown comfortable with Dr. Lac and his staff. I know get to sit in the lobby and read PEOPLE magazine. Some of the front staff may be chock-full of moxie but they truly care about my son's teeth, grades, social life, future, etc.
