Been a progressive customer for over 10 years, have multiple cars and drivers on the policy never had to file a claim always paid in full. Once in a while they try to up the premium but calling my agent and asking him to negotiate a better deal for me usually solves the problem. Overall I'm a happy customer / or I should say, I was a happy customer.
On a side note: generally speaking I see no point of insuring a vehicle unless it is more than $5000. My average 6-mount premium is about $1300 so do the math, in 10 years I paid close to $26K... If I sell all my cars I wont even get close to half of that amount....
Two months ago my wife got into an accident. luckily she is fine... totaled the car, which is also fine. Few days ago got a letter from progressive saying that we were dropped from the policy and will not be covered by them and look elsewhere for a new policy.
What kind of business model is this ? what kind of company screws a loyal customer ?
thieves, scumbags...
all insurance companies are part of this corrupt system, I wish you all the worst.
