  • Lifetime Athletic is one of the better gyms that I have been a member of. I am currently a member of LVAC, Golds Gym, and Lifetime and spend 90% of my workouts here. The facility is GIGANTIC and beautiful. It is easily accessible off of Pecos or Green Valley Parkway. The staff is always incredibly friendly and gives you greetings and salutations as you come in and out. The locker rooms are consistently clean and there is usually a worker in there tidying everything up. Both the male and female locker rooms include a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, offer razors and soap, and have great personal use showers. The locker room leads to a full Olympic size indoor swimming pool that if you walk past leads to a resort style pool outside. There is also a bar and grill, cabanas, and comfortable lounge chairs. If you are a tennis fan, this is your place with several indoor and outdoor courts as well as a pro shop. The actual gym is on the second story and a full selection of brand new cardio and weight training machines, and plenty of free weights with dumbells going up to 115lbs. I don't have children but I will note that members are very happy with the daycare setup here. My main grievance with lifetime: At certain times of the day, trainers will host group activities that take up almost all of the space and racks in the middle of the gym. This can get annoying at times. Overall, Lifetime is extremely well kept and has awesome brand new equipment.
