This "experience" is located near the food court area in MGM. I wouldn't do it again because I didn't think it was worth the price. You check in, pick one of 3 cases - ours #2 was an actress who's body was runned over after work. They give you a clipboard with sections to jot down your notes. Then you enter a room to watch a short video with actors from the CSI TV show talking about their "work" as investigators.
The next room is the crime scene and you're suppose to look for clues. You enter another area where clues from another or the other 2 cases are posted on the walls and you have to look for the color-coding to figure out it's your case. There's about 5-6 sections to go thru to gather clues from forensics to chemical analysis, fingerprinting, analysis of tire tracks to xrays of the rib cage. Then you're suppose to logon a computer and click on the correct answers and guess who the murderer is. There are employees scattered about to assist you if needed.
If you want a "certificate" of your investigative accomplishment, you can pay for it at the counter or have one emailed to you. Some CSI souvenirs for purchase are available on your way out. I just wish the cases were a bit more difficult.
