| - I am compelled to follow up my previous review. More accolades! These guys are honest. Yes. Very, very honest.
I took our Altima in because I noticed a screw sticking into the driver's side rear tire. It was positioned on the edge, right where the sidewall meets the tread. I knew from experience that it most-likely couldn't be repaired, and would require the purchase of a new tire. The young man at the counter, Ignacio, confirmed this.
I told him the tires on the car were, to the best of my recollection, original to the car when we bought it. They were Toyo brand, which I didn't think I had ever purchased in the past. We'd only had this car for a couple of years, so I was ready to buy a new tire.
Upon checking my account history, Ignacio discovered that my memory had failed me. He told me that we had purchased all four Toyo tires at Purcell, along with a road hazard warranty that covered the cost of the new tire. Woohoo!
I teased him a little, saying that he could have ignored that and not said a thing and I would have bought a new tire. He smiled and said, "Oh, no. We would never do that. You're covered!"
Home run, Ignacio!
This is why all three of our vehicles, including an F-350 with duallys, are equipped with tires from PURCELL'S.
