  • Last month we took our kid's car in for an oil change. Josh was our counter guy. After picking the car up, our son called and said the brakes felt weird. I had him get off the street and I drove over to see what the problem was. I drove the car and yes, the brakes felt odd. They sunk farther to the floor then they should of. I called Josh at Greulich's and he said bring it back and we'll look at it. They drove the car and couldn't duplicate the issue. He recommended changing the master cylinder since that "could" be the problem. I drove the car again and the issue disappeared. We brought the car home. I looked again under the hood and noticed the master cylinder reservoir was full to the rim. I guess Greulich's did that, but Josh said they didn't. Next day the issue came back. We took the car to another mechanic in Gilbert on Gilbert Road and they found a second fluid in the master cylinder. They drained some out and had it in a bottle for me to look at. It looked like oil and water mixed, which they don't. They said the entire brake system had been contaminated with a second fluid and it effected every rubber part in the system. I called Josh again and he said they would of never filled the reservoir, even the second time the car was there. Well, it was topped off and I know I didn't do it and our kid doesn't even know what brake fluid is. I told Josh I understand I did not witness his people doing this and he said yes, it would be our word against mine. He said he called the district manager, which was on vacation, and he was to call me the following Monday. It's been 4 weeks, no call. Like I said, it's hard to prove anything without witnessing it, but it cost me $950 to fix what I believe they caused. I'm just passing on my experience with Greulich's.
