  • They obtained my mortgage and did an excellent job, HOWEVER, they sold it to Penny Mac USA. When I registered online and obtained my account access for the first time, it was the LAST TIME I was able to do so! Customer Service was unable to help me, so I will have to resort to mailing my payment in each month. The pay-by-phone option is useless, because you cannot pay extra toward the principal or escrow if you desire to do so. A quick research of the Web about Penny Mac USA will confirm they have NUMEROUS consumer complaints. If you use Amerifirst, I strongly suggest you get a commitment in writing that they will NOT sell your loan to Penny Mac.
