  • New Zealand was recommended to us by a friend and we are so happy it was. Hubs and I visited here a couple years ago and then went again recently with friends, and it's still amazing. Don't judge a book by it's cover - the place is small and it's located in a strip mall, but it's one of the best sushi places in Charlotte. Depending on where you are located, it's a bit of a drive, but again, worth it. The inside is small but it's clean and cute. The staff are knowledgable and skilled; our waitress took our order for 4 people and didn't write anything down. Impressive! The menu is diverse and they have bento boxes and other authentic dishes besides sushi. The variety of rolls is awesome and they are always FRESH. The prices are very reasonable too - 6 sushi rolls and a bento box costs us $58. This place is definitely a hidden gem!
