  • Do Not Come to this COMPANY!!!!!! I signed a contract for both my kids for braces. The first year, I gave them my insurance AND my Flex Spending Card. Simple right? Bill the Insurance, bill the copay to the FSA card. I get a nasty "Pay your bill" notice about 6 months in. I go to the office. "Oh, we don't accept FSA cards." I asked, "Then why did you accept one?" They blamed the new girl not knowing better. A few months later, I found out they had not even been billing the correct insurance company, even though I directed them that I had a new insurance company. They were getting rejection letters from the old insurance company for about 8 months and not questioning it....just letting the bill total up to place on my shoulders. When they surprised me with it, the nightmare of paperwork with my new insurance was crazy. I had to prove I provided them the info. It wasn't hard. The regular cleaning bills went to the correct insurance. Right then and there, I transfered to Precision Dental for EVERYTHING but ORTHO. I'm under contract for the ORTHO. I told the Manager of the billing errors but she has no follow-thru at all. She did, however state, "we take FSA cards!" I had my payments billed to that. My daughters braces completed no problem from then out. My son is a diffetent story. Their is the issue of a missing payment over a $200. I dont get monthly statements for him, even though I have asked repeatedly for them. I have no idea what's billed to my insurance and can not verify their bills with my insurance statements. I have taken off work numous tomes to verify info and get to the bottom of issues because the phone doesnt seem to get the follow-up it needs. (They forget) I have had to get managers from other offices involved in various things. THAT seems to work the best!!!! I am still, 3 years in, having to verify if all payments from me and my onsurance company are accounted for. More work than a consumer should have to do. And let me tell you about the contract, when I switched insurance companies, I had a different plan structure so I signed a new contract. I shouldn't have. My son's original contract was for 2 years. He's been in braces 2 years 7 months. I have second opinions that he should have been in rubber bands a year ago. He is not yet in them. This company gives excuses. BRACES REMOVAL...it just so happens to coincides with when the new contract ENDS!!!! A.K.A the insurance stops paying. Not a second more. Poor guy, his teeth are straight as can be. My two second opinions won't remove the braces but they are appalled by these practices. So, I would not trust these people.
