| - Absolutely terrible service by branch manager Josh.
Allow me to elaborate. I recently had m iPhone 6 Plus screen cracked and replaced. After the replacement, I noticed issues with the screen not registering my touch under the sun when it's intensely bright. During my travels, I went to an Apple Store in Toronto, who were really cordial and helpful and suggested that the issue should be handled by replacing the phone entirely. I didn't have time to stay in Toronto to do so, thus I postponed this. I was in Pasadena this past weekend, and went to an Apple Store there, who met me with equal amount of respect and friendliness. I realized that I didn't back up my phone, so had the replacement postponed yet again. Now I'm in Las Vegas, and was in the area of the Town Square Apple Store. It's 2 days before the screen replacement warranty expires, so I thought I should give it a shot. I was met with a new Apple Genius Bar rep Matt, who had to ask his manager for confirmation of this replacement. Josh's introduction was curt; he hastily introduced himself without shaking my hand nor a smile on his face, giving me the feeling that he would rather be doing something else than helping me. He basically told me that the other 2 branches didn't know what they were talking about and they were wrong. That to replace my iPhone would cost me $330 since the phone itself is no longer under the warranty. And that the phone not responding is an issue with the hardware inside the phone and not the screen, which would not be covered under my warranty of the screen. I justified myself saying why would 2 other branches say one thing, and this branch saying another, who should I believe? I was told that I'm welcomed to try attempting to go to another Apple Store, but they would leave notes for the other stores warning others that I am not eligible to get the phone replaced. The service I got here made me feel like a criminal trying to take advantage of them and that "AHA I finally caught you" type of experience! This is ridiculous because I'm only here based on the recommendations of the first 2 stores. I noticed a lot of variation in the quality of service among the Apple Stores, and some would go out of their way to help you, while some would go out of their way to prevent you from getting help. In this experience, the Town Square Apple Store, under the leadership and service (or lack thereof) of its manager Josh, is the latter. Needless to say, even if I were to remain an Apple customer, I would not bring myself back here again and would rather try the other locations in Vegas.
