My first time going into this New Balance store I was so excited to get a pair of running shoes because my clients all rave about how they love their shoes. I'm in the store with maybe one other customer and there were 2 employees working at the time. I asked if I could try on a few different styles in my size, 45 minutes later still nothing... I try to be patient I keep looking around until someone is able to help me, still nothing. Rather than getting more angry, I just decided to leave.
Even though I was irritated I figured just go online and buy a pair to try out- so I did. They didn't end up working out so I went to the store to see if they would be able to return it. Unfortunately I went when the employee was apparently having a terrible day. After asking if I could return at their store I got a flat "no sorry can't help you." So I was curious as to why, and he responded "were locally owned, we don't do those kinds of things." Which is fine if they don't but it was just the lack of respect and customer service that was so irritating to me.
I will never go back to this store after 2 terrible visits- really unfortunate considering they're the only one and a lot of my clients look to me for recommendations. Sorry to break it to you but costumer service is part of the gig.
