  • Love pier 1 imports but our first large furniture purchase from this location has left us with mixed emotions. We purchased a $1800 dining room table and 6 chairs which we absolutely adore. Unfortunately we were only given 4 of 5 boxes and did not realize this until we got home. Noticing we didn't have the base to the table we called the store to see if it was there. It was thankfully because this was 5 days later. We picked up the merchandise during the week and put it together on the weekend. We retrieved the base from the store only to discover when we got home there were no directions on how to put the table together in the box. We called the store again and the women on the phone laughed and then put my husband on hold. This was not amusing to us and after being on hold we were told where to print the directions online. Thankfully we love our table otherwise with all the mistakes involved in this purchase I would have returned it. Hopefully Pier 1 can use this as an opportunity for improvement.
