While my therapist Bowen was amazing, fishy pricing left me with a bad taste.
Lots of my friends get services from Best Foot Spa and enjoyed them very much. With a little more than an hour to spare, we opted for a relaxing and restorative experience with foot massage, so we headed to Best Foot Spa. When I checked in on Yelp, it showed me an 42% off of $38 to $22 for 60min...I don't know anyone who can resist that offer.
The ambience was very respectful for those who need to release some stress...quite and professional. We were offered Hot Stone work...of course we took it since it is rather common in foot massage in China town...loved the technical aspect from my therapist, but found it unprofessional to up-sell in the middle of the therapy session. I would have much preferred that this was discussed prior to treatment. Additionally, this is an item that is often included in similar foot spas.
All finished and offered with hot tea and water...very kind.
When we were checking out, they said the price was already reflecting the Yelp checkin offer...we ended up paying $36 plus $4 for stone upgrade.
In the end, I was puzzled on the fairness of this review...absolute 5 stars on my therapist Bowen and 2 stars on pricing practices...so in total, it felt like a 3 fading star experience.
