I don't know about you but I start craving ice cream and cold desserts as soon as a winter storm hits our city. I wish I could say this place satisfied this craving, but I just left wishing for a comfortable pint of Haagen Dazs ice cream.
I ordered a strawberry pudding and the Winter of Love ice cream sundae. Neither were bad, but I also wouldn't write home about these desserts. The pudding was basically 7 spoonfuls of ordinary pudding for $5, topped with some skimpy strawberries. The Winter of Love sundae started out really yummy, but then I realized I would've been happier ordering just the London fog ice cream. There were too many flavors going on (London fog, vanilla, mango), and it just seemed to be priced incredibly high ($8) for what I got. The mangos tasted pretty fresh though.
Overall, it's a cute place near Cafe CanCan and Piano Piano, but I don't think it serves up hefty competition to the incredible dessert places in Toronto (kekou gelato & Bang Bang ice cream I'm looking at you).
