  • Wyndham Desert Blue was wonderful! This was my first time in Vegas and this resort helped me to truly enjoy myself. First off, the staff was great! They always greeted me and my guest as we came in and as we left and made us feel very welcomed. The rooms were beautiful, very modern and elegant. Its a brand new resort so everything was in excellent condition. The rooms were fully furnished with washer-dryer and fully stocked kitchen (not groceries stocked, but all dishes, blender, coffee, full size refrigerator, etc.) We had an great view from the room of the city and the pool. The pool area was awesome! Surrounded by beautiful palm trees and an outside bar. At night, the pool area was nicely lit up and sexy =}! That being said it is still great for couples and families alike. It had game and activity rooms that had pool tables, arcade games, and a giant Connect-4 game! They offered a shuttle to the Las Vegas strip and the Rio Hotel was across the street. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Vegas where you can enjoy the excitement and liveliness of the city, but still want to be able to get away and relax after, then Desert Blue is great for that. The only con, I would say is that there is no restaurant on the grounds. Although they give you a list of the surrounding delivery options (which we did one night and it was awesome take-out Thai restaurant) and The Rio is across the street which has eating spots, it would be nice to have a place right in the resort. Overall, I loved my stay and I would definitely return!!
