I LOVE CARSON KITCHEN! I feel anyone who enjoys delicious comfort food will enjoy coming here. However, the place is usually always packed. I recommend trying to make reservations, but they often don't take them. They will take your name down, but there are no guarantees over the phone. The place is also not the big so there is limited seating. You may have to sit at the bar if there are not any tables open. During the summers, you can enjoy the food and a drinks outside.
Service: Although the restaurant is busy, the service is still great. They try their hardest to be attentive to everyone.
Ambiance: Great place for you to hangout with friends and family! Come in to grab a quick bite to eat and then walk out to explore Downtown. You are pretty close to the nightclubs and bars. It is a bit loud, so be prepared to yell a bit as you talk to your peers.
Food: We can here mainly to grab a drink, but we did get two appetizers: The Crispy Chicken Skins w/ Smoked Honey and the "Devil's Eggs". Both were great. The Chicken skins is probably the best I have ever had and goes well with the honey. It is agreat sweet/salty combination. The Devil's eggs were also delicious as well.
Drinks: I got the moscow mule. It was made perfectly and served in the ideal copper cups. It was mixed well so it was very tasty. I would recommend getting the mule here.
Price: I would say it is decently priced with many of the menu items are tapas size. I would bring at least $40 bucks to cover food/drinks.
Have fun and enjoy yourself at Carson Kitchen's this weekend. :-D
