  • I had a horrible experience when I visited your club on the eve of February 17-18, 2017. Upon entering, the security made several sarcastic remarks about what needed to be removed from my person before passing through the metal detector. I am from Pembroke Pines, Fl. and was unaware of the rules. After passing through the metal detector my medicated eye drops were confiscated. I asked the security officer for the reason behind this. He did not give me a straight answer. I explained to him that I did not have a problem with allowing him to hold my eye drops, and asked him would I be able to retrieve it on my way out. He told that it would not be a problem. I had eye surgery in 2015 where my right tear duct was damaged, and was prescribed medicated eye drops. Upon exiting the club I asked the officer for the drops. After checking he told me he did not see them. I explained to him that it was medicated and I needed them as I will be here until February 22, 2017. His response to me was "oh well". I felt disrespected and tried to speak with another security officer to no avail. I have been an employee of Pinnacle Protective Services in Miami, Fl. for over 5 years as the security manager of the company myself, working in several high profile night clubs. I would never allow my subordinates to speak with any customer in such fashion. I did not disrespect anyone in any way while I was a customer of your establishment. I am at a loss right now as I need those drops and will not be able to function once my eye dries up because I am unable to naturally produce the tears needed to lubricate my eye. I need my eye drops as I will be here for 4 more days and will not be able to get prescription eye drops before then. Also, while inside your establishment the bartender was dismissive towards me. There was no crowd while I was at the bar and was ignored as if I did not exist. When I inquired about bottle service the bartender appeared to be in a rush and further ignored me for about 3 more minutes until I was able to get his attention again. I was severely displeased by the service I received both outside and inside your establishment. However, my biggest concern is that I am here from the East Coast and may have to visit your emergency room once my eye dries up because it will be very painful to even blink when this occurs. I will never again visit this establishment and will speak to my current employer who is in charge of hotel staffing not only for The Cromwell, but several other high profile hotels in the Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada area. My wish is that the security officers are coached on how to deal with customers who visit the establishment only seeking to enjoy themselves and not cause any disturbances whatsoever.
