I've seen this concept many times in videos across the internet. It is mainly seen in Asia where they work your ice cream on a cold top, add the ingredients of fruits or cookies, etc to the ice cream and then start rolling it into small rolls that for perfectly into the cup.
My husband and I were having lunch at a nearby spot and decided to give it a try. They have about 10-12 options on the menu. It is cool to watch them put together the ice cream for you. You choose what sauce you want on top after the?4 put the rolls in the cup. For mine, I had the choice between whipped cream, chocolate or caramel sauce. I decided not to go for any and stuck to only the healthier toppings which were mangoes and strawberries.
Nice place but it can be loud with all the pounding in the back while they prepare the ingredients that will go into your ice cream. Ice cream tasted good. I would like to try a different option the next time I go since many on the menu seem pretty interesting.
