| - This has to be the worst Jared I've ever been to. On 9/15, my wife went in there to purchase a bracelet and have her Citizen watch band adjusted down. She bought the bracelet, but they didn't want to charge her for the watch adjustment. That's great. However, the coming days after, the pin that was adjusted fell out. I just tried to take it back to have a new pin put in and a guy with more jewelry than a woman would wear immediately looks at my receipt, saying there's no watch adjustment on this receipt. I explained the situation and he smirks and then rolls his eyes. Then says he needs to send it to Citizen for repair. Odd, because my other two Citizens needing pins were replaced right on sight. Mind you, this is the third watch we've had adjusted and the third time pins had fallen out.
So I call corporate customer service and explain the situation. The rep immediately starts defending the store saying it's against colony policy to do watch adjustments. Doesn't even bother to ask what store it is, sales ticket number, etc.
Um, what? Then why have you touched my watches? This explains why pins had fallen out every single time.
This company has lost a LONG time customer. I've probably spent tens of thousands of dollars overtime lifetime. Good luck, Jared. My best advice is to find a competent jeweler that doesn't violate company policy. What may seem as a favor that isn't documented is turning into an ugly situation to have a dumb pin replaced.
