  • For great, authentic Mexican food...go here. if you're looking for artsy food that is placed perfectly on your plate and looks better than it tastes, stay away. The food here is fantastic! My husband is from Globe (where this family originates from) and we go here anytime he has an itching for Globe/Miami style Mexican. If they're busy the service can be a little slow, but that can be said for many restaurants. The Gollo burro is a favorite and their enchilada sauce has that down-home flavor that we both absolutely love. It's not a fancy place. Yes, the decor is a little outdated and for the most part, the food is just thrown on a plate without any flair, but anyone who has has authentic Globe Mexican knows this is the way it's done. You're supposed to go to a restaurant to enjoy the food, not stare at the walls. The food is good...that's all that matters here.
