| - Im a fan for the food, not the service. We got seated fairly quickly, however, it took about 5 minutes for someone to come to our table for the first time. Eventually I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special with a #2 spice level. (Spice levels range in 1-10, with 10 being the hottest) Which came with soup of the day, which our waitress neglected to inform us of, a wonton, an egg roll and of course the main dish. When the soup arrived it was OK. I asked the waitress what it was and she said coconut milk something or rather. And thats all....while the broth was good, the ingredients werent. There were thee brown hard circles, chicken, something that looked like lettuce or cabbage, green onions (I think) and carrots. I wasnt impressed. Then our main dish came out. The Pad Thai was a little too spicy for my liking and way to peanuty. I ended up only eating the wonton and egg roll and having to order a whole other meal. That was annoying. I ordered the fried rice in place of the Pad Thai and it was amazing. Thats what I go to Archi's for in the first place. The down side is I ended up paying basically $16.00 for fried rice due to me not liking my first order, they wouldnt take it off my bill. In summary: I would go again, not during lunch, and play it safe with items ive ordered there before.
