  • I have been to the Rainforest Cafe a few times before...thats right...a few. It's a fun place, regular thunderstorms, moving animals, pleasant night skys and such. This place really is a lot of fun for kids...which is precisely why it was perfect that my most recent visit was with Evelyn W., my big kid friend. We had a tough day of shopping at Yorkdale so we ventured in for some grub. We got the big app platter which was pretty gross...aside from the Asiago dip, which was delish. You may notice that Evelyn W. made fun of my ordering the garlic mash which was AMAZING while she ordered Clam chowder. Of all the things to order in a chain restaurants I would put Claim chowder top of list of things most risky...nevertheless...she loved it, but I stand by my point. An try the side of mash. Yum. The 411 on the RFC is that it is a really fun place to bring kids, the food is a little pricey but they will have A LOT of fun. It's the closest to disney you can get in Yorkdale. If you haven't been here yet it's worth a trip especially if you're a big kid....get the fountain pop for sure...REFILLS!
