I was introduced to this wonderful place a few years back by a family member and knew I had to come back next time I visit Vegas from LA. So on the way back home today we stopped by for breakfast. The place looked as I remembered and we were promptly greeted and seated by a very friendly hostess. The menus are quite charming as they look like your local newspaper and there are many delicious options. I ended up ordering Grandma's Biscuits & Gravy with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage patties and a banana nut muffin. The muffin was soft and warm; slather some butter and it was great. I really enjoyed the gravy on the biscuits and the home fries, where are very well seasoned. The rest of my party got a ham and bacon omelette with home fries and a blueberry muffin, along with a chicken salad sandwich on rye bread with cranberries and walnuts. All three of us ended up eating half the plates so we have some food to go with us on the 4 1/2 hour trip back home.
Overall, great food, nice service and reasonable prices. Will definitely make a return trip next time I'm in town!
