Orderd the Margherita pizza yesterday, and it was by far the worst excuse for a Margherita I have ever tasted. The sauce was probably the exact same sauce they use on their pasta.. Very thick, and sweet. Margherita's are supposed to have thinner, lighter sauce made with crushed San Marzano tomatoes. And third, the "fresh" mozzarella turned into globs of hard, barely edible cheese within minutes of its removal from the oven. The crust was "ok," but still nowhere near the charred, beautiful crust that you should expect with a Margherita. I certainly have no plans on returning to eat there.
