  • I found this place on google because it was one of the few places I could find that do TCA chemical peels. They also have a medical centre there with doctors on site, which was important to me. I'm glad I didn't let the yelp reviews deter me because I had a really good experience. I live in downtown Toronto, but I've gone to a few "med spas" in my area for consultations to remove my acne scars and I couldn't find one that I had confidence in. Many of these med spas recommend lasers treatments as a "one-size-fits-all" for most skin problems. The staff often don't seem very educated and most of the time there are no doctors on site. So I did some research on my own and decided I wanted a TCA peel. I called to make an appointment and I got one the very next day. They told me I was booked for a consultation and I had the option of going forward with the procedure if I wanted to. I felt no pressure to do it at all. The location is beautiful, definitely feels like a luxury to be there. The reception were average, definitely not rude. They gave me forms to fill out and I returned them when finished. I waited in the waiting room for a few minutes when my friendly aesthetician came to get me. I had already spoken to her on the phone a day earlier because I requested to speak to her as I was so nervous about getting a TCA peel. On the day of my appointment I was so scared I probably asked her about 15 questions about the procedure. She was very knowledgable and answered my questions thoroughly. She didn't sugarcoat anything or try to convince me it was a good idea. I was not pressured at all to go through with it and felt like if I had decided not to get it, my choice would have been respected. I did decide to go through with the peel. The aesthetician told me what she was going to do step-by-step and told me what the pain would feel like etc. It hurt a lot! My face "frosted", which means the peel penetrated my skin well. I received thorough after care instructions emphasizing the importance of protecting my skin to get good results and not get sun burned. The price was $150 plus tax which I find very reasonable. Currently I am still going through the peeling process. I'm not sure what my results will be but I am very happy with the service I received from this centre!
