  • This is a lovely little coffee shop. It opens nice and early (8 AM on weekdays). The decor is lovely, especially the painting of Sauron. I had the cheese scone, (good quality and tasty) and nutella latte (delicious, with a durable leafy design). The server was excellent: laid back, polite and solicitious. The seats were comfy. I sat first at a small table, and then moved to a stool at the window ledge. I am removing one star because the place attracts an arty crowd, which means everyone talks a lot. This a unfortunately not a place which allows for deep concentrate on reading, studying, writting, etc., even at 10 AM on a Tuesday. Otherwise a lovely hole in the wall. P.S. Free comics are provided your customers reading pleasure. Nice clean public washroom within Silver Snail comics, on the same floor.
