| - So with 4 stars it says "Yay! I'm a fan" ... here's what I AM and AM NOT a fan of:
I want to intro with this: I found a Groupon deal for $70 - partial highlights and a cut. They honored the deal even though I didn't have the "groupon" - which is a bonus for them because they get the full payment in the end. All I did was mention I found it when making my appointment and was informed to not worry about buying it.
FAN OF:
- As stated above, they honored the Groupon deal even though I didn't purchase it.
- Gabby - she did a great job on my highlights and matched work I previously had done. She took her time to make sure the color application was perfect and was very clean when dying my hair.
- Prices (even without the Groupon, partial highlights and a cut would have been $100... I'm used to paying $150+)
- Plenty of parking
- Offered soda, water, and magazines during my appointment
NOT A FAN OF:
- No receptionist (maybe just not on Sunday's or weekends??)! The stylists can not see when customers come in, so walk around the half wall/divider and find someone. Phone answering isn't fast either, the stylists have to do it all.
- Broken lounge chair (it had a sign "DO NO SIT" but people did it anyway... chair should have been removed)
- No street or shopping center sign (it's behind a bank on a back corner, had to drive around for about 5 minutes before I found it).
- TV viewing choice (today was some poor action movie with cursing, there were kids in there!)
Other notes
- This place is obviously new and could use some work; it's only been around for a year. There isn't any decorating other than painted walls. Some shelves or bookcases would be nice as well, books and magazines are scattered all about.
Overall, I liked the end result and that's what matters. I'm already planning my next appointment in a few months, right before my wedding!!
