So I have to update my review and unfortunately not for the better. I must say, this Starbucks location usually does a great job despite the fact that it's mostly operated by young college students. But today left a very bad impression on me. So like I always do on Sunday morning, I order coffee online right at 6:30am when they open. I roll right up the street to the coffee shop and see people waiting outside. I roll around to the drive thru and wait for about 10 minutes and no one even verbally acknowledges me. Cars are driving off. So I roll up to the drive thru window and asks the young lady what's going on. She says that the person with the key to the store did not show up today. So, they're inside scurrying around to get things ready. So it happens. I completely understand that could happen. But I have an issue on how the staff addressed customers during this time. Another young lady (very short petite brownish/blond haired) approached and said in a very harsh tone, "We're not taking orders right now". I then told her that I had ordered online so just needed to pick up my drinks. She literally rolls her eyes, shakes her head, and walks off. A little later she comes back with my drinks. In my mind, this was unprofessional and rude. Another things, why did no one come out front and inform the customers as to what's going on? Wouldn't that be the professional, courteous thing to do? Lastly, Starbucks....make sure 2 people on a shift has keys. Problem solved. I'll continue to go to this location as it's convenient for me. But Customer Service here needs a little attention....especially during abnormal situations.
