Ping Pang Pong. Ping Pang Pong. Ping Pang Pong. What a fun sounding name to say over & over.
Wow! Can't believe it's almost a year since the first time I found out about this place through a friend. This time around, we made sure this was the first stop we made in LV to satisfy our huge appetite. Warning: get here early to avoid the long lines of people trying to get some shrimp balls.
As soon as the host directs you to your seat, be prepared to be asked if you're interested with plate after plate of dim sum & other Chinese concoctions. Items are not priced the same, obviously, so it's a guessing game how much they will charge you at the end of your meal (although they do stamp your order summary with some item/menu codes like in other dim sum places) but it really doesn't matter because the food is good any time of the day. Try the almond coated shrimp & shrimp balls on green bell pepper with black bean sauce with any of their special fried rice. The flavor lingers in your mouth like white on rice. Lol, rice coz I'm Asian. Lots of yummy things here & there; yummy things are everywhere! Order a glass of Thai iced tea or some hot tea to wash out the after taste. Sesame balls are always good to close out a filling meal. Got my full meal, & I was one satisfied customer.
