I have somehow not attended the Conservation until recent with my sister. We were blessed to have Sunny as our guide as her 'personal' talks with the animals was so refreshing and heartwarming. But, if you haven't gone, this is something you wont regret. 1) your 'fee' is actually 100% donation. so, please don't balk at $25.00 until you experience the wonders this place has done with the animals and their success rate reintroducing them into their natural habitat. 2) Know this is one of only sanctuary that takes bears and houses them naturally. You meet 'Hollywood' Bobcat..lol..and see the beauty of the red foxes in colors you don't expect. 3) There is a part jaquar/leopard that circuses abused and now has a comforting home. 4) You may get lucky and blessed to hear Giselle, the mountain lion, purr AND get 'sang' to by the howling of the coyotes and wolves. 5) the black bears..I dontknow what to say but I couldn't take my eyes off them and falling in love with them. I cant say enough. Drive an hour or more..learn and experience one of the rare totally privately run through donations, wildlife sanctuary. It is NOT a zoo.
