  • This place has gone down hill. I can remember getting much better prices even just a few months ago to have a suit cleaned. I brought a winter coat and 2 curtains in to be cleaned recently and I was quoted $21 per curtain plus $27 for the coat. $70+ for 3 items is pretty ridiculous! I am planning to sell the coat so why I would sink nearly $30 into cleaning it? I was told that they give it the Canada Douche, err Goose treatment, as if dropping that name would make me think 'quality'. I wouldn't dare be seen in one of those ugly coats with the douche badge on the side so, why would I want to pay fur-hag prices to have my coat cleaned? When I mentioned the pricing being much higher than my last visit and he immediately offered a 25% discount, which is completely sketchy and just goes to show he knew he was ripping me off. I told him I could get it done for half what he wanted to charge me originally so the discount was not enough to entice me. It's too bad because this location was convenient for me, but the exorbitant price combined with the Canada Douche sales pitch has really turned me off. I agree with the other reviewer, what happened to the nice young woman who used to work here? Maybe this operation has changed hands. There were two guys behind the counter doing the job that a Japanese robot could do.
