  • Let me start off by saying I have a very tough hair type to work with. It is super, super thick, coarse, straight, but voluminous. It doesn't lay flat without straightening and there is just too much of it! Before moving to Wisconsin, I had a stylist I had gone to for 6 years because she just understood my hair type and that you can't simply hack away to remove hair, you need to shape, use thinning shears as you cut and POINT cut that slippery mess! I expressed all of these concerns when I scheduled my appt and then repeated them once I was in the chair to get my hair cut. The cut was exactly what I asked for, but I still don't feel like the shape (thinning and cutting technique) suited my hair type and I do have some little hacked away locks in the back (which are concealed, so it's not a big deal). I would definitely go back and trust that the stylist, Alethia will have a better idea of how to work with my hair next time. I love my cut and the experience was soooo nice. I got a hand massage and the products made me feel like I was in a spa!
