rev:text	Let me start by saying that I'm a local and this was to be considered a birthday staycation for my friend and I. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at some of the most innovative 4-5 stars resorts, including Disney world hotels that leave you in awe. So when I decided to book the Delano LV based on my experience with the Delano Miami, I couldn't have been more disappointed with my choice and should've read up on the reviews prior. 3 star at most ...the experience was like non I've ever had ....embassy suites leaves a better impression. The rooms are clean and decent but a bit outdated. The toiletries provided left much to the imagination and the mini bar was a fridge filled with all sorts of goodies but forget about even getting complimentary coffee...$4 a plastic cup with a small keurig drip packet enough to make one small cup. You are left with a small space inside the fridge to put maybe 2 or 3 bottles of water but the hotel makes it very difficult for you to have no choice but to order their over priced drinks and horrible in room dining. The front desk not very helpful with hotel info and most times placed on hold for long periods of time just to get a standard answer. It's the little things that make for a wonderful experience and this hotel did the opposite by lack of communication and aloof attitude. Definitely not a hotel to be pampered beyond the spa which was nice but again nothing to brag about. I spent over $400 in services, and I accidentally left a very expensive electronic device with my name on it in the locker assigned to me. You would think they would leave a message in my room to say they had it and to offer for them to hold or have a bell boy deliver to the room....nope! Went directly to lost and found and not until the later evening did I realize it was missing. I called front desk frantically who advices me that L&F is closed till the next morning at 9am! Unacceptable as I needed this device to work the next day at 7am. Finally when putting in a report with the hotel security they advised me that their L&F is open 24 hours .....I mean comon!!!! That lack of communication costed me 45 min of going back and forth nonsense with the operators and security ...which I could've spent having fun my last night at this meh hotel.
