I used to drop in occasionally to pick up some custard tarts (which are great). Then I tried the veal sandwich and I have to say it's pretty damn good too. The veal itself can be over cooked and a bit tough sometimes but the bun is fantastic and makes the sandwich. The best part is the price. It is under 6 bucks and while it isn't the best veal sandwich around is definitely the best value.
Service is pretty good and they are always pleasant. The signs around the store always crack me up because they seem a bit scolding and the tone is a bit harsh. "Don't sit here if you a re ordering takeout!" "We don't take US currency!" LOL.
Anyway the veal sandwich is a hit and the desserts and bread are good.
