Wow, where to begin?! Took my Nissan Sentra 2000 in due to overheating and stalling. Was told at the end of the first day it was all finished and ready to be picked up. Walked there only to be told it would take another 45 minutes and it would be ready the following day. I told them I should have asked them to do an oil change and if they could fix (if it would be a quick fix) the air conditioning which was blowing hot air. Yes we can do that for you I was told. They did let me borrow a car that was there. That was on Friday eve. Saturday they said it needed a new fuel pump and it would be another $300 on top of the $900+. I told them I had the fuel pump replaced 3 1/2 years ago (40,000 miles or so). So Tuesday I was told it was ready, the air conditioning was running cold etc. I wondered why the windows were both down. The air conditioning was blowing hot air and I could even feel hot air coming out of it when it was off. The service engine light was on. It later blinked and finally turned off. I called them right away though and they said just bring it in. I've been feeling poorly and take care of my elderly very ill mother, so was only able to come in today. The guy speaking to me was a jerk! Told me it was because I had things on the floor of the passenger side blocking the fan (wasn't told that before) and that was why the air conditioning problem occurred. Also said the labor would be free but I would have to pay another $70+. I told him I wasn't paying another dime! That I had already paid them $1425! And that one of the things they replaced was the water pump and they hadn't even discussed replacing that with me. The car isn't even worth that much! BEWARE!!!
And now the service engine light is on and the car is hesitating when excelling, especially on the freeway. The "new" radiator (that Community Tire Pros installed) sucking up the coolant and looks like it boiled over at some point. Oh and by the way I forgot to write earlier that even though the employee at Community Tire Pros said the air conditioner was nice and cold, they know they lied about that because the knob was set to all the way to the right so the hot air coming out of the air conditioning (even when it's set to OFF!) wouldn't blow at the driver who was test driving the car after it was supposedly fixed! They didn't even bother doing an oil change like I asked. You would think after 4 days and $1425 they could have fixed the car properly. The damned thing only has 88000 miles on it! I would bring my car, Howard, to the other location for you to look at but I am still caring for my mom who is a hospice patient and I don't have the time!
